On Saturday, October 23, 2010 Hair Port Salon & Day Spa will be hosting "A Pink Carpet Affair" a Cocktail Party & Fashion Show for Hope and the Social Event of the Season. Join us from 7pm to 10pm at Hooked, consistently rated as DC's Best Seafood Restaurant, located in Sterling. While sipping cocktails and savoring the light fare & passed canapés, guests will preview the latest fashions provided by Loudoun’s premier boutique Rich Hippie. There will be live & silent auctions as well as entertainment and a Champagne fountain where a limited number of glasses of champagne will be sold which enters the guest into a drawing to win a beautiful gemstone.
As we prepare for this well-attended event we are asking for your support. Please take this opportunity to give "HOPE" and courage--the two necessary ingredients to battle breast cancer and all illnesses. At Hair Port Salon & Day Spa we hope to make each years fundraising efforts exceptional. Your ability to give "Hope" is greatly appreciated. The staff and I thank you in advance for your generous support.

City of Hope, an innovative biomedical research, treatment and educational institution dedicated to the prevention and cure of various cancers and other life-threatening diseases, supported by a national foundation of humanitarian philanthropy.
Hair Port Salon & Day Spa’s involvement with the City of Hope began in 1997, when we held our first annual Cut-a-Thon with 100% of the proceeds going to this important charity. The City of Hope is a research & treatment facility for cancer and other life threatening diseases. The scientific knowledge and medical expertise generated at the City of Hope is shared with other preeminent cancer centers across the nation, thus ensuring that the most advanced therapies will benefit people afflicted with breast cancer and other devastating illnesses – helping everyone, everywhere, everyday. In 2008 we donated over $46,000 to the City of Hope from our Cut-a-Thon and our Fashion show, which are held each October. To date we have donated over $260,000 to City of Hope.
